Wildfire and Flood Season

Floods and fires have already affected thousands of Albertans this year. When these situations occur, they often come with little or no warning. Being prepared can help.

Take these steps to help you navigate Alberta’s hazards:
- Sign up for the Alberta Emergency Alert, and use settings to get alerts the way you want.
- Pack a grab and go bag to include important documents and medications.
- If you drive, keep your fuel tank topped up. If you don’t drive, talk to your neighbours so they know you will need help in an evacuation.
