Understanding Insurance

Many of us assume our insurance will cover our needs. But how do you know for sure? Consider asking your insurance provider these three questions:

  • Does my home policy cover water, wind, or hail damage?
  • Does my policy cover evacuation expenses for my family; if yes, what’s included?
  • Are there any incentives or discounts from my insurance company if I install and maintain a backflow preventer or sump pump?
